Locks Of Sandwich Cycles has been established since 1977 under the ownership of cycle shop legends Arthur and Eileen Lock.

With retirement looming, shop ownership passed over to Andy Croucher in 2010, who with 25 years of the Motorcycle and Cycle industry under his belt has worked tirelessly to take the shop forward and bring it right up to date. All of the hours of hard work are clear to see, Locks of Sandwich Cycles now hold over 100 cycles of various types in stock and carry a vast range of quality accessories and branded clothing. Andy has always prided himself on a good, honest sales and after-sales service as well as quick bike service and repair times, with no job being too great or small. This work ethic has really established Andy and his shop in the South East, making his mark as one of the most well-stocked and equipped bike shops in the area.

The shop is constantly evolving and going from strength to strength and the shop now has 3 other full-time members of staff, Martin, who also comes from a Motorcycle sales background and is a keen cyclist, when he's not busy with his home-schooling and blog writing. Andy's partner Michele keeps everyone in check, rather than everyone getting carried away when new exciting bikes enter the market. The newest member of the team is Andy and Michele's son Tom who is new to the cycling world but enjoys riding daily and helping the shop move into the 21st century.

When Andy, Michele, Martin and Tom get a chance to take a day off of work they can be found either being involved with local cycling events or whizzing around the local lanes on their bikes, enjoying their passion for cycling from the other side of the counter.

Meet the team

Andy (the Boss) - has worked all his adult life in the cycle/motorcycle industry and is passionate about all forms of cycling.

Michele (the other Boss) - pays the bills, wages and makes the tea, and does know a thing or two about bikes!

Martin - (Workshop) our loyal workshop guru who made the jump from motorbikes to cycles some years ago. His care and attention to detail means that his work is outstanding.

Scott - (Workshop) our new recruit. He is a passionate mountain biker who knows his way around bikes and loves to set up suspension.

Tom - (Sales) Has been around the shop for over 10 years, although he has only been with us a short time he knows his stuff!
